Spartans eSports Academy delivers a professional esports experience to everyone while investing in the local esports community at every level – from youth to high school, to college, and beyond. Whether our esports athletes choose to play, practice, and socialize with friends or compete at the highest level, Spartans eSports Academy is the premier destination for esports and STEM-related development.
Our parent company, Helix eSports, owns and operates world-class gaming and virtual reality experiences at state-of-the-art centers throughout the United States. Their recently opened Patriot Place location is the first gaming center adjacent to a major professional sporting venue (Gillette Stadium) and is also home to the Boston Uprising, a professional Overwatch team.
Teams: While the objectives of both the recreational and elite teams may differ, the premise is the same... to teach the athletes about gamesmanship, communication, teamwork, strategy, nutrition, physical and mental health, and much more.
Clinics: Our esports and learning development clinics will assist our athletes in furthering their skills and education in the world of esports and the future of technology.
Camps: Our week-long esports/STEM camps will provide our athletes with incredible education opportunities in; Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Cryptocurrency, Programming, Design, Content, Digital Marketing, Casting, Production, and more.
Tournaments: Our world-class facility will be the main center for esports events. Equipped with state of the art technology and fiber internet, our locations will provide esports athletes with the best resources to complete at the highest levels.
Esports is about more than just playing games… it can be used to help students grow their STEM interests and develop valuable life skills. With 72 percent of teens playing video games regularly, esports is a great way to engage additional students with after-school activities.
Nearly 200 colleges in the United States are actively recruiting and offer esports scholarships. Additionally, companies within the esports industry are looking to hire those with experience across multiple aspects of gaming.
Video games have come a long way since Tetris, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Mario Kart (the N64 version, obviously). So, too, have neighborhood tournaments of Halo. Competitive gaming, or esports, is an industry valued at over $950 million, and its global revenue is projected to reach roughly $1.6 billion by 2023. Ever wonder what a day in the life of one of these esports athlete's is like?
32 esports Cyberpower computers with fiber (500/500) internet connectivity, BenQ Monitors (1 ms response time and a 144 Hz refresh rate), Razer peripherals, and a comfortable Zipchair.
Our Academy will be hosting quarterly tryouts for elite teams in all the most popular esports games. Players will practice and compete weekly as a team with professional coaches.
Players and teams will participate in competitive esports tournaments locally at our Academy as well as use our state of the art facility to compete in virtual tournaments hosted globally.
Athletes can participate in many of our esports clinics as well as private training and skill development with several of our esports coaches.
Combining a love for esports with the gamification of learning our academy will provide camps with a focus on AI, VR, AR, software, programming, design, cryptocurrency, content, digital marketing, and more.
High education institutions are looking to build their Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics programs and our esports academy is dedicated to empowering our youth for these opportunities.
